“A stunning voice with a beautiful, dark undertone.” Recording her first EP “Desert Girl” in New York City in 2019, Naomi Vernon has spent the years since the pandemic building her fanbase and performing at such legendary venues as Rockwood Music Hall, The Bitter End and The Bowery Electric. Her single “Old Mountain Road” debuted on KBOO Radio Portland, OR in 2021 and was met with wide praise from the Folk music community and beyond. Since the release of her single, she became a Falcon Ridge Folk Festival Emerging Artist for 2022, and has performed across the Northeast region, South Carolina and Arizona. Naomi was part of CT Folk Festival Presents: Guerilla Artist Showcase at NERFA (Northeast Regional Folk Alliance).

In July 2024 she performed on the Lobby Stage at PAC NYC - Perelman Performing Arts Center at the World Trade Center as part of their “Sidewalk Series.”

Naomi was born and raised in Tucson, AZ. Her Mom is an oil painter and her Dad is a Botanist. She grew up in a rustic home with vast acreage at the edge of the county line. When she wasn’t singing to John Denver on her parent’s record player from the 70’s, she spent her time in the mountains.
